With Jessica Loftis

I am so excited about this one today! I want you guys to meet my good friend Jessica Loftis! She is not only a DNA specialist, nutritionist, and WBFF Wellness Professional, she is also a super sweet and empowering woman to be around! We got together and chatted about the power of nutrition and food as medicine, things that lead to inflammation that might absolutely SHOCK you, turning your pain into purpose, and so much more.

Do It Afraid

Sometimes we just need to do things afraid in order to get what we want and what we believe our purpose is. Jessica would not be the woman she is today if she did not do it afraid. Friends, I also would not be the woman I am, if I didn’t do it afraid. We all have fears – fear of failure, fear of the unknown, fear of losing friends along the way, etc.

Jessica shares her story about going from the corporate world to being a full time entrepreneur to help people change their life through nutrition and fitness. Jessica had a passion in her for a long time which led her to her purpose to serve people through wellness and fitness. Maybe you know what you are passionate about but you haven’t taken that leap to do anything with it yet. Maybe you just took that leap of faith. Maybe you are thinking to yourself, “I don’t even know what I am passionate about, but I know I am not fulfilled by what I am currently doing.” Wherever you find yourself, you must do “it” afraid – search, develop, leap, pivot, etc. Let Jessica’s story be an encouragement to you.

Food Is Medicine

So many people need to change the way they think about food. The food we eat not only contributes to how our tummy looks and feels but it also affects mental health, fertility, productivity, and so much more. Jessica took the time to dive into some very key foods that are found in the American diet and how they affect things like inflammation, brain fog, infertility, hormones, liver function, and even how we engage in relationships.

Remember when I shared that to remove the pattern, you must first remove the label? Now is the time to remove the labels on food. Dieting is no more. Cheat meals are no more. You can fuel and heal your body while enjoying what you are eating.

Comparison

Friend, whether we are looking to get started or we are deep in the process, the number one thing that will stop you is comparison. Knock it off! The comparison game is the killer of all joy. Choose to celebrate and enjoy who you are. The kind of confidence that comes with celebrating who we are creates a confidence that radiates to those around us.

If comparison is something that you struggle with, you are not alone and check out this episode— comparison will dictate your future. My future friend Tony Robbins says, “where your focus goes, so your future flows.” Comparison can keep you from starting or derail your process; is that really worth it?
